Researcher, The Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute
Christer Ahlström is a researcher at the Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI) where he works with acquisition, processing and analysis of data, with particular interest in biomedical engineering aspects of driver inattention and driver sleepiness. He has an MSc in Computer Science and Engineering (2002) and a PhD in Biomedical Signal Processing (2008) from Linköping University, Sweden. Christer especially enjoys bridging the gap in interdisciplinary collaborations involving technology, medicine and behavioural science. Key proficiencies include an ability to extract valuable information from cluttered data sets and out-of-the-box thinking for signal and data analysis design.
